ARTIST STATEMENT

This body of work delves into my personal interpretations of dreams—ephemeral, recurring experiences that reveal the inner workings of my subconscious. Each piece reflects the emotions, themes, and imagery that surface while I sleep, offering glimpses into my internal landscape.

I use fluid and dried recycled paint to represent the spontaneous nature and cyclical patterns of dreaming. Claw-set like precious gems, these paint remnants become symbols of unresolved thoughts and emotions I continue to revisit. Pearls, speak to the purity and rawness of dreams—untouched, authentic, and often vulnerable.

These handheld pieces invite reflection on the tension between the conscious and unconscious mind. They are both personal and symbolic—tokens of anxiety, growth, and self-discovery within the layered terrain of the dreamscape.

This collection is my tribute to the beauty and unease of dreaming.
